Queens Of The Arm is organised by Marie Balon, French −70 kg champion and founder of Massy Bras de Fer Sportif, and the Ar-Skewell restaurant and pub, represented by its co-founder Fabrice Coutant. The Fédération Française de Force (FFForce) supports the event as a partner; it is not the organiser.
No advance registration is needed: simply come to the venue. To enter the open at 6 PM, you must have already attended an armwrestling taster session. If you haven’t, join the guided session from 3 PM on the day.
Yes! Experienced women armwrestlers will guide you through the taster sessions to help you get started in the best possible conditions. No previous experience is needed.
The taster sessions are open to everyone, with women given priority. The open is for women who have attended a taster session, either on the day or previously. Men are very welcome to try the sport and enjoy the event.
Yes. A Licence Loisir FFForce (the federation’s recreational licence) is required to compete on stage in the open. The organisers cover the cost, and Massy Bras de Fer Sportif arranges the licence. Participants will therefore be licensed through that club.
Yes: admission, taster sessions and entry to the open are all free. The organisers also cover the Licence Loisir FFForce required for the open, arranged through Massy Bras de Fer Sportif.
Ar-Skewell is a restaurant and pub serving snacks and drinks during the event. You don’t need to book a table to attend.
Yes, the venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility. There is a parking space next to the entrance, with more spaces a little further away. An adapted armwrestling table will also be available for anyone who would like to try the sport.
The livestream will cover the open from 6 PM and the vendettas from 8 PM. The taster sessions will not be streamed. A replay will be available, and individual matches will be uploaded to the channel later.
